There's a link in the V812 section on our forum.

I'm working on an even simpler method (root required) that just requires a few clicks, I should publish it these coming days when I'm done with the tests.

Cheers.

Unzip all three files in the zip to the root of the internal storage. Download terminal emu later and install to tablet. Open it, type in su and press enter. Then type in the second command line and enjoy. There is a third line that will reboot the tablet into recovery

xeresis said guys i have full root with 1.32 rootet rom!   first install  CWM recovery and then install from here  the logo v3 zip (select install update from zip) after that my onda have full r/w access.   and one question please... my tablet have 12gb internal sd and not 16gb, is that right?

I tried this... Still can't delete the stock launcher :( permissions not granted.   Really hope we can get a fix for this soon!

 xeresis said stock launcher can delete with titanium backup

You can't actually, it may say its deleted but its actually not because it doesn't have R/W permission for that directory.

'Admin' can we get any updates on this issue please? Its the only reason I'm not using this as my standard rom as I find it runs much better once the stock launcher is un-installed (Which we can't do with this rom)

Thanks again for the effort put into making this rom for us.

the boot loop problem ist still there with the 1.32 :(    ...this makes the tablet unusable for me in urgent situations when I have to rely on my hardware. I hope, the manufacturer will solve the problem soon.

CONFIRM NO CONFLICT OR CRASH IN GENERAL.
I succeeded with vers. 1.2 previous firmware but I could not understand what were the steps made.
Then I restored the 1.2 rebuilt the steps and got this far but I will not confuse you.
USE THIS:
1) Upgrade to new firmware 1.32;

Operations to be performed:
1) Restore and backup (only for those who already had updated and installed something)
2) Delete and disable everything that was written in Chinese on the desktop from the desktop mother the blue so to speak, and continue when we open settings or eliminating or ending if we have the opportunity;
3) Of all we need to eliminate wave widget including 360.ie cc. everything that is Chinese;
4) Once all the elimination Chinese open file manager go to SD card and clear them all CLEARANCE ALL  (Just hold on folders and screen opens click delete folder as in all) will only SD. -
4) Finished create folders Pictures, Movies, Music and just close all
5) Now what we want to install crash-proof. -
I hope it was clear in doubt, ask
I forgot my tablet Onda V972 is obviously not Rooted
A good make
Sorry for my English Wink

Are you sure? Maybe you dont give permission access from supersu to titanium backup?

My 1.32 rooted success uninstall without problem.

I think you'll find its actually not uninstalled, it looks like it is, but its really not. I have been granting permission to Titanium backup.

Open up root explorer and have a look in /system/app/ I reckon you'll see that Launcher2.apk is still there.

Ok lets just agree to disagree, in my experience with this rom, it doesn't have the R/W access (even 'admin' has acknowledged it as a bug) to the system files which is needed to be able to delete the stock launcher and TB can't magically change that

Also not having the choice doesn't necessarily mean you've uninstalled it, it just means you've selected your other launcher as the 'always use' option.

I want to modify the former post to a kind question. Wink

Do you plan to make a pre-rooted 1.33 Version without the chinese software, fixed preferences and maybe already installed Nova and wiped Launcher2?

Or, if not, can you give advise how I can do that by myself? Cool

Best regards

EffKay

Thanks Effkay, that sounds more polite ! Wink

One is in the works actually, I'll just do Chinese apps cleanup and root, Nova can be added by the user.

Cheers.
