After one day of use I can say that the 1.35 is the best firmware for the v972 I have ever tested. It is faster and has less problems. Finally the tablet became usable.

I am using this firmware last 3 days and can say that it works much better than v1.33.

No lock ups, no green chinese writings, no app crashes.

However, I have a problem with wifi. It needs very long to find the router and to connect(Router is only 3m away, and the password is stored). Also, when display shuts off and on again -> connection gets lost and it starts to search again. Sometimes it takes few minutes to connect. And trying to connect manually also doesn't work. Does anybody else have the same problems? Or does anybody know how to solve them?

For comparison, my smartphone finds the router and connects within 5 seconds.

I have exactly the same wifi connection problem. Strangely enough I can often make the tablet reconnect again by fiercely shaking it.... So I suspect it's a problem with a loose wifi antenna, but not sure about it.

I've changed the security setting of the router from WPA2 to WPA/WPA2 or WPA+WPA2 and it seems this solved my problem. It connects within 5 seconds and stays connected during shut off display. I've read it on another forum.

Try it out and please report if this works for you too.

EDIT: Oh, and I've also changed the wifi channel from 6 to 2. But I'm not sure if this made any difference.

The following users say thank you to renato0134 for this useful post:

Yes, that does make a difference. Wifi is stll disconnected after a sleep, but indeed reconnects a lot faster.

So thanks for this tip! By the way, in my router the setting is called "WPA mixed mode".

really recommend the new supernova 3.1. The 3.1 rom now I finally can download security apps like my bank and so. Even more responsive.
