I happy that for most people the problem is solved ... but I still have the same problems :(

Lock at my Post Nr. 2 (link) & 4

When I mount my "Internal" SD-Card manualy (see Post 2) and when I do the "ls" command in a terminal it shows all the old folders but in the following style:

ls: ./Downlod: I/O error

ls: ./DCIM: I/O error

when I try to create for example the folder DCIM on the Internal SD-Card I get the following message:

mkdir failed for DCIM, I/O error

but I can create other directories but all are owned by root and I can't change that ... i get the following message:

chown: eBooks: Operation not permitted

I can also copy files to the Internal SD-Card but there then also root and I can't change that

I use the following command "chown system:1023 file.txt" ... system:1023 is the ownership for my extsd folder

Maybe somebody has some ideas? I'm really a bit stuck ... spend already so many hours trying to fix it but no luck

Running right now Canary_Rom_v_1.0.zip based on Firmware 1.35 but already tried every Firmware that I could install over CWM

ThanX

Platform.xml file / etc / permissions /

Just change the following line:

<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE">
<group gid="sdcard_rw"/>
<group gid="media_rw"/>
</ permission>

If you keep pressing platform.xml above you will leave the option to open in text editor and just add the line that you lack.

As they say, first change the permissions to allow you to write.
