When I ordered my Onda V972 I was told the factory disabled charging while in use. Thanks to user, msav, I went out and found a more powerful AC USB adapter than the stock one provided by Onda. I went to Radio Shack and found an Enercell 5VDC - 3.1A USB 2-Port Power Combo for Home and Car. On sale 24.99.
Works great. I tried the Wall Charger and it works great. Have not tried the car charger yet however.
Here is a charger I picked up at Amazon that works much better than the stock AC adapter provided by Onda.
Been using ipad type charger from ebay since Feb without any problems.
I have one on order and am a bit confused. If the factory have disabled it's ability to be used when charging, how is this overcome by just using another charger? I thought that only firmware could dictate how the tablet behaves and what it's capabilities are?
I would much rather be able to use it when it's charging but can live without.
