1, firmware packages containing brush tutorial, and Brush tool, use the brush machine for desktops;
2, brushing machines are at risk, please please read the tutorial before you brush;

What is this 'brushing machines', may that be a machine translation of the Chinese term for 'rooted device'?

Great question! :)

Brushing means flashing.  or applying the update.  Brush tool that they refer to is phoenixsuite

 Do you know the changelog? Can I flash it over the test 4.4.2 without formating? Thank you!

Can you please tell me how you rooted?

Are you familiar with Linux, the sunxi-tools and bash scripting?

Seriously, this is not a "one-click" process and even more difficult with the new 4.4 ROM's

But here is a good starting point

ok thanks - looks outside of my skill set.  Looks like I'll wait for until the Onda tabs can be easily rooted in kitkat before updating.

Hi mates, (this i my first post.. so "Hi")

did anybody know if there is a way to downgrade back from 4.4 beta to normal stock rom?

No, TWRP is not working..

its unable to mount the needed devices (data, emmc, system... and so on), so I can't just install an new cfw.
PhoenixSuite does not work also.. it always just asks to make shure that the file is valid and so on...

I think the only way back to cfw is through a downgraded stock rom..

Any ideas?

I also tried the recovery on my Onda V972 , and it did not go back to the factory settings.  It just cleared out the latest version that I flashed.

Hello community,  greetings from Germany.

This is my first posting here,  written on a giant fast performing Archos 97 Platinum HD with Onda 4.1.1 v2 flashed.  Unfortunately without camera and ext. SD read only, but this is known and - what I could read so far - from Onda v972 v2 too.

So my question; someone checked 4.4.2 v2 (kitKat beta) already on Platinum HD?

Do you see any risk trying this?

Thanks for extended support. I learned a lot just by reading your communication.
