- root with latest SuperSU 1.94 (free version)
- system default setup English
- removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications
- Google Play Store fixes so more application are visible/compatible
- Unix like init.d boot scripts support, more details on init.d scripts here
- changed permissions on external sdcard to allow write access
- added Google Experience Launcher (GEL) in addition to Onda stock launcher
- New! kernel modules (USB GPS, Xbox/PS3 gamepads, OpenVPN,…) compiled by Christian Troy, thank you. See our guide for XBOX 360 gamepad support

Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have an Onda V818mini (V2) tablet to test the custom firmware.

Hello,
I tried to flash this one on Onda v1, but the touch screen is not working, it actually asked me on the first boot which app to use (Launcher and Home), could not select neither of them. Back to 4.2.2, all works fine now. Is this is a bug or V1 is not compatible with this version posted here ?

As the topic and description clearly states, this custom firmware is for the Onda V818 (V2), and is probably not compatible with the V1.

Can this possibly work on Onda v819mini? I read somewhere that 818mini v2 is compatible with Onda 819mini, but i'm not so sure.
