Hello guys.
I would like to buy a v818 or a V712 (quad core)
Which one do you suggest me ?
v818 8" screen  1024 x 768  1GB RAM Â
V712 7" screen 1280 x 800 Â Â 2GB RAM
who knows wich one is more performant ?
I'm afraid about chinese language and quality of build.
Is it possible to free the tablet from chinese apps ?
please let me know if you have some suggestion.
thanks

Well... it's very hard to answer this question. I only have v818 and it is a nice tablet.Â
The tablet is very pretty. The quality of built seems good, the screen is bright, it is very thin and light.
Perfect? In my opinion, not really. Perhaps with a new firmware.
Even if it is fluid, it is really lag at wake up, and with some applications.
I suspect the A31S not be quite up to its ambitions.
For Chinese applications, some custom firmwares remove them, but they do not really interfere.
For v712, I do not know, but the 2GB of ram is an asset. But I must admit that the size 8 "4/3 is really more confortable and convenient than the 7" classic.
I think the V812 or v813 seem to be better than the v818 witch disappoints me now.
If I could choose now, I would opt for a Cube U30GT mini 2 and his 3188 Rockship.
I hope my point of view help you. (excuse me for my so poor english)

Hello, I do not know CUBE
I went on theyr page and I saw:
- Cube U30GT2 Mini2 Quad Core Tablet PC Cube Mini2 7.9 inch RAM 2GB
maybeit it is better ?
It seems ONDA is a more seriuous chinese company than CUBE !!!
but I could wrong .
Today I have an ARCHOS 70 g8 with 250GB ,but it is old now, but I love it so much !

Hi !
I have a Cube U9GT2 since december 2011, and it still works fine. So i don't know if Onda is better than Cube, but i already know this model of Cube.
If you hesitate between Archos and Onda, you can have this review :Â
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/archos-80-platinum-8inches-quad-core-a31-tablet-passes-fcc/
As you can see, onda v812 IS the archos platinum 80...
Having 2 GB of RAM can make quite a difference if you launch many applications at the same time or multitask frequently.
When choosing your future tablet, you shouldn't worry about the Chinese apps & settings as this can be easily changed and we also may provide a custom firmware for more Onda models in the future.
Cube U30GT2 Mini2 can be interesting, performance wise it's probably a little faster than the Onda models but you'll need to watch for build quality as some device they made had issues (power swtich, display and other things).
The new U30GT2 (10" models) so far got reports of screen problems and its WIFI isn't too good.
Cheers.

Thanks guys.
It seems that ONDAÂ have a little bit quality more than CUBE.
i didn't read bad experiences on the web!
so probably I will try to buy an ONDA also if I do not understand why they reduced RAM from 2 to 1GB in new model 818 ( 812 had 2 GB!) I see this like an autogoal !!!!
last month I tryed 2 ARCHOS Titanium70 and both had problems: on/off button was broken, Death pixels and small White dust spots behind the glass!
many people had exactly these problems with Archos 70 Titanium !

With tablets at this level you need to consider ergonomic, ease of  use and exactly what you want to do with the tablet rather than "speed".
I have a N80RK which is definitely faster than the v818, it scores 18k+ in antutu compared to the 12k of the v818. However, it is slightly larger all round. Â Noticeably it is thicker and heavier. For these reasons I much prefer to use the v818. Â The screen on the v818 is also much brighter an important consideration.
I simply do not notice the speed difference when using the tablets. Â I am not trying to resolve the absolute value of pi on these machines! Nor am I trying to play extremely demanding 3d games on them (which in my opinion aren't even out onany tablet) I use my trusty PC for that. Â to me the "touch" interface of any tablet is compromised and unsuitable for many applications.
To browse the web, watch films, read ebooks and play casual ganmes (including the 3d racing ones) the v818 is more than satisfactory and in fact brings many more positive attributes with it.

HI
finally I bought a HYUNDAI T7S.
price was $10 less than Onda v818 but it has GPS , BLUETHOOT, and Samsung CPU.
I don't know If I did the right choice, but I like it very much.
in any way
......... I continue to use my old ARCHOS 70 with Hard disk every day  ARCHOS is great !!!!!!!
I have its little brother the Hyundai T7 and I love it, it's similar to yours just with 1 GB of RAM instead of two.
I'm curious if your T7S runs an Android 4.2 firmware ?
Cheers.
