I have a V811 quad core tablet is that instability in WIFI connection. I'm thinking of upgrading the android to try to solve this problem. Can anyone give an opinion? Currently it looks like this:
of the baseband version: v1.35,
version of the kernel: 3.3.0
SN CODE: V811QAD3V2D06651
Usually Onda models display their firmware version on the Baseband field, which is v1.35 in your case, quite an old firmware.
Newer firmware (3.2.1) gives smoother operations, it may help on the WiFI as well.
The version of the firmware is not as V2 serial number?
SN CODE: V811QAD3V2D06651
I'm afraid to apply the firmware incorrect, please explain better!
The site support "WAVE" is very bad, first they sent me the link to a firmware DUAL CORE and a second attendant then said that my version (V2) has no update.
Help me please, because I have to get by resetting the router to the connection WIFI tablet work.
I can only see firmware for one version of the the quad core V811,
the latest firmware from Onda is here
The Kasty version of this from Arctablet is here
If it really is a version2 hardware, I can't find any firmware - even version 1.35
Onda only show updates for one version of this tablet.
Personally, I would try the Kasty version.
There is more information on how to do it here
If you are not sure, you could try an OTA update but I have a feeling it will not work.
Is there any app that can install to verify the correct version of my tablet?
About the firmware download, support the "ONDA" sent me the link below for the download but there are two firmware and not sure what I should or should not install. You can verify?
obs.: OTA does not work.
Both of these are updates from your 1.35 version.
Of those two versions, version 2.0 was released 4 or 5 months ago and version 3.2.1 (I gave you that link already) is the most recent version which was released a few weeks ago.
The Kasty version I linked to above is based on the later version 3.2.1 Onda firmware.
This is the one I would try.
Of course, if you don't like it, you can just reflash with either of the Onda versions. The latest one is the most stable (but has the terrible new boot screens!)
you can see if this helps your wifi.
You can maybe also try changing the channel of your wifi signal... or maybe the security mode.
