Hi,
I have an Onda V811 Quad-core that I acquired. I believe mine is a V1 hardware model quad-core & uses the Hynix H27UCG8T2B Flash memory. It seems that the person "bricked" it during a software upgrade. However, there is no indication that the unit is functional. I've removed the cover & have verified that the battery charges via the USB, The PC does not recognize the tablet when USB is inserted. Is there a procedure to un-brick this unit? I have seen the procedure for another V811 model, but it used different Flash memory than mine.
Thanks,
Kevin

Sorry, I should have posted my resolution earlier:
I used the following resource page to fix issue:
However, Google for the lastest version of the Flashing program, currently: PhoenixSuitV1.07_CN
If your PC "sees" that your have connected the tablet, but does not find a driver, you must Google for "Allwinner Tablet USB Driver". Newer Windows such as Windows Vista, 7, or 8 may already have the driver pre-loaded, but I assure you that Windows XP does not.
I believe the "Bricking" of this tablet often occurs when an attempt to update via wireless (over the air) is unsuccessful, especially if unit battery dies prior to completing the install. The following is done via USB connection to your PC.

If you let PhoenixSuit check for updates, it should update to 1.08
Btw, I think the current Flashing program (including USB Driver) is OndaSuite: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1dDmUReh
Onda V813

I have exactly the same problem. When I try to turn the tablet on, there only appears the Onda logo and nothing more. I have tried to wipe all the data but nothing. My computer doesn't recognize the tablet, but when I plug it(via USB) it starts charging the battery.
Any solutions?
(sorry for my bad english, I don't speak fluently)

Please refer to STEP 3 for procedure to get the tab into Flash mode at the following link: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/phoenixsuit-flashing-tutorial-onda-v972-v812-allwinner-a31-tablets/

Kevin
