ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !
Hello,
My Onda V813 tablet is in an unresponsive state and I want to ask here in the forum about how to recover. When I start the tablet, it starts booting. But the login screen is never reached. I installed the last custom firmware on it, and I had no problems with it.
I was this weekend with the tablet on the beach, and because of the strong light, I could really not see the status in the screen. By switching the tablet on/off probably it is now in a state that is not OK, and I should recover from that.
Can somebody give me a tip?
Pablo
You can reflash the firmware using PhoenixSuit.
I wonder what you were doing with a tablet on the beach ?
Cheers.

I am trying to install the latest custom firmware to recover my tablet, but I am not successful. The Phoenix Suite (v. 1.0.6) does not find the device. In one of my trials, by pressing both the home and power button, and connecting the USB cable to the laptop, the tablet entered into another mode which showed the version of the firmware and gave some options, like booting again. Unfortunately, I booted again and I have not been able to come to that menu again. Can some one give some links / explanations on what is going on and what I could do?
BTW, I like to try this little tablet with me when travelling, like when being in the beach. In Germany it is raining so much :-).
Cheers,
Today I could recover the tablet, finally. I have flashed the latest firmware, and it is working OK.
The most annoying thing is that PhoenixSuit (version 1.0.6) does not the find (or detect?) the tablet. How I managed is really unknown to me. I suspect by pressing the power/home buttons, trying (and retrying) the firmware upgrade with PhoenixSuit, in one occassion it came that the tablet was connected, and I could proceed to install the new 4.2.2 Android firmware.
