Hey,
I just got the v711s tablet directly from china and I tried to flash it with a new firmware but I didn't took the good one. Now the touch screen doesn't work and I'm unable to reflash it to an other firmware.
Also the boot manager is not responsive so no chance on this side (also I don't have volume button on the tablet).
You guys have any idea what should be my next step ?Â
Is a hard reset via SD card available ? Is there a way to get boot manager working ?
Thanks !

The tablet must be fully off before trying to reflash.
It should also be charged up - more then 50% just to be sure.
To make sure it is off, hold the power button on for at least about 10 seconds - you may see a slight screen flash as it goes off.
(If it is constantly rebooting, you need press the home button and attach the cable quickly as descibed below. You must have Phoenix Suite open, ready to go on the PC first though)
Next, before attaching to the computer, open phoenix suite and go to firmware tab and load the firmware img file you have already downloaded.
Once done, hold the home key down then attach the USB cable from computer and Phoenix suite should start the firmware flash. You may need to press the power button successively for Phoenix suite to initiaite the firmware flash. My V813 just starts without any power button press.
Choose yes to 'mandatory format' and let it run. It should take 2-4 minutes to complete.
When it is finished, you can press the power button in to restart. The first boot will be longer than normal.

I did all of that. wait ten minute nothing. I hold button make sure it off. Then hold home button plug in and press power ten times I have everything loaded before I start up. Then moment it loads logo shows up and doesn't go past that immediately after it is loaded. I charged couple hour although every time I plug in just t charge logo show up and I am afraid of burning that aXX logo into screen. I tried this before it went smoothly first time but this time I dont know what went wrong. I am using windows 7 does that matter?

No problem to use Phoenix suite to flash in Windows 7 here.
On the computer, in Phoenix suite are you getting the pop up window asking for mandatory format like this
If you are getting this, then you need to select yes.
Have you tried with the latest Onda firmware file (android 4.4)
hardware version 1 here
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1c0xLVyg
hardware version 3 here
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1gdFWH15
The previous Onda firmwares are here (3.2.1) (android 4.2.2 I think?)
version 1 http://pan.baidu.com/s/1ejZQr
version 3 http://pan.baidu.com/s/1BZVz6
Perhaps your 711s is a different hardware version to the one you have been trying to flash. It seems that the Kasty modified firmware is only available for version 1. Maybe your tablet is a version 3?
good luck,
Pingu
