4.4 Kasty for the V711s?

Hello all,

i've been using the kasty ROM for the v711s for the last few months, and am very appreciative of the efforts of the writers.

With the release of the new stock firmware, I was just wondering if there was going to be a kasty update to the new 4.4 firmware?

Given time, we will probably build a custom firmware for the KitKat update on the V711s.

Thanks, i appreciate the hard work.

i just wanted to get an idea of whether i should stick with my current rom or upgrade to the new stock, but i'll think i'll stick, at least for the time being given the problems there seems to be with gaining root on 4.4.

Am using the V711s Core4_v4.4_v1 firmware is pretty solid if u ask me and i rooted it whit "King android root" deleted sum chinese apps and the Wifi feels faster to. But for sum reason the build in camera dont work not sure if i messed sumthing up when i delete the apps.. Also i want to thanks the guys here for the V3.2.1 custom firmware

So now i have a dilemma..... to wait,or go ahead and upgrade????

Does the camera work with 3rd party apps (eg skype)?

If u dont got important stuff on your tablet u can flash to 4.4 and try it out. Ofc you can always flash back to custom V3.2.1 firmware. The thing am wondering is if onda did a good job on the new firmware or if the android 4.4 is overall better maybe is a mix of both. But as soon a Custom 4.4 firmware is out am sure to use it over stock.I dont speak chinese so i dont rly understand chinese/apps
the camera dont work whit skype or other apps but is not a big issue for me .
