First comment on the Nextway F9X custom firmware! I tried the firmware it, I think swiping screen I did not like the advertising before the loading screen. Maybe you could have make it look part of the logo instead of a separate image. Any thoughts of making a custom Nextway boot animation? Here is mine,

I don't know how to add the png files
Users can change the animation if they want, but our custom firmware usually leave the default boot animation from the stock firmware.

Just replace /system/media/bootanimation.zip by your own bootanimation.zip file.

Hi,
HELP PLEASE!!! I have updated my F9X to Arctablet Firmware to 2.0. Very good.
Great job!!! BUT, I have configured some parameters using "System Tuner" tooll
and now the tablet does not start. It loads the first boot screen and goes
to next, where I can see the Nextway animatiion... and ONLY... It does
not advance.
I have tried conect to notebook, but I think the SO is not loaded yet, so
Phoenix no recognize it. I dont know how enter to enter in recover mode.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Just follow the PhoenixSuite (tutorial) to put your tablet in Flash mode and reflash a new firmware.

Not really
Have you flashed with PhoenixSuite, did you answer yes to the Mandatory format dialog ?
Maybe try to flash again, the custom firmware and the stock firmware firmware from the manufacturer to see if there problem is still there.

No idea but it's been like a month Android 4.2 is on other Allwinner A31 based tablets, such as Onda models.

Strange output, distorted sound from the F9X earphone out
Hi together from Germany,
some days ago I received my F9X, which did not work at all (system UIDs inconsistent, continous stopping com.android.phone whitout any chance to give any command to it). Service from the chinese supplier efox 100% negative. 5 seconds before the resignating big throw into the garbage, I was successful with your thread. Herzlichen Dank!
I remains just one strange concern with the audio output. Internal loudspeaker appears to be normal but earphone is very strange a) sound bad like under water, bit echo and noisy. I checked all my earphones, always the same result. b) I tried to use the earphone out to connect to directly to my home audio system (ampli and so on) result: the music player stops and restarting switches the output to the internal speaker without signal to the external ampli. Strange feature. Had this never befor with other devices.
Does anybody have an advice for me? Or is the audio output modual of the F9X such bad? Thanks in advance...
Toto13
