Here is a custom rooted firmware from MK808 MiniPC latest 2013/01/10 update.

I haven't yet seen a revision history for this update, but after 2 hours of tests it works very nice so far, full 1080p output, no skipping on Youtube.

Android 4.1 build: rk30sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H eng.lfwang.20130110.143012 test-keys

Linux Kernel: Linux version 3.0.8+ (lfwang_V_300j1) (gcc version 4.4.3 (GCC) ) #28 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jan 10 14:29:47 CST 2013

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean custom rooted firmware features:

- root with latest SuperSU 0.99 (free version)

- writable /system partition

- removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications

- increased space for application (/data partition) to 2 Gb.

Rooted custom firmware for the the MK808 Mini PC: kasty-mk808-41-20130110_rooted.zip

Use Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.5 to flash the firmware, with Restore button.

Please report any problem with this firmware

Hy,

I have a two problems with firmware.

1. WIFI only work in 802.11g modes(max 54Mb/s), but in N card

2. adb dont work! (latest google USB driver and adb.exe)

well the adb google drivers work only with some designated devices, like google nexus, you would probably need to add manually the corect values in a modified adb drivers pack.

I just installed the update, came up fine, but can't get the wi-fi to work it turns off right after I turn it on. I tried resetting. But it still doesn't stay on. any ideas? I have a rk3066. Thanks, Matt
