Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !

Hi everyone! (first sorry for the language i´m swedish :)). Read all before you do anything.
So i had a problem with my tvstick so i decided to do something about it, a newbie on
everything regarding custom roms and all.
Started out by almost bricking the device just because i didnt know what to do:). well you
have to learn the hard way.
Ending up here on the forum searching for answers, and i found them thanks to Oma7144.
So what i did first was to root the device with iroot from http://www.mgyun.com/m/en and it
worked fine.
Then after that it was time for "Arctools apk" so i can reboot in to bootloader mode
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arctools-application/clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-easy-install-on-rk3066-and-rk3188-devices/ just followed instrutions there and i choose the oma-
loader gen2.
After that i looked into custom roms and i found this one "kasty-mk808-422-
20130410_rooted4.zip" from http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/rk3066-based-minipc-mk808-imito-mx1-mx2-firmware-updates-android-422-jelly-bean/ and it seemed okay at the beginning, i
booted into bootloader mode loaded up the imgfile and started to flash using
Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7.zip
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/downloads/tools/Firmware/Rockchip_CPU_based/Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7.zip/
But when it checked the downloaded firmware after install it gave errors so i tried and tried
several times and at the end i gave up and unplugged the tv-stick and thought, "here goes
nothing". Well i guess i had luck or something because when i plugged it in again it booted
into android fine.
And here´s the big dilemma of the whole thing i installed the firmware with out support for my
wifi rtl8188eus.... Found it out the hard way. Opened up my tvstick and checked it out.
Other than that everything worked.
So be careful!!! Check your device what for every chip/wifi/bluetooth or lack of bluethooth
you have.
Well so after browsing the internet for suggestions for many hours i decided to give Oma7144 a
pm because he helped me with a question before, but thats another story.
he replyed quickly and gave me a link to Volkspc demo http://www.volkspc.org/demo/ and i am so
thankful for that.
Downloaded "Rk3066_stick_rtl8188" image and flashed it with Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.7 without
any errors and followed the tutorial ending up with both android and debian on my tv-stick,
and i love it :).
So first Thanks Oma7144 for the help, really nice.
And by doing this kind of guide i at least give something back to those who may need help with
their tv-sticks.
Jimmers.
