ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !
Here is a rooted custom firmware for the JMI Tab T970v2, it's based on latest firmware available from JMITech (2012/10/01).
Custom firmware features:
- root and latest SuperSU (version 0.99 free)
- writable /system
- extended application space to 2 Gb (versus 1.0 Gb on stock firmware)
- Google Play Store fixes
File download:Â kasty-jmitab-t970-40-20120826-rooted-2G.zip
This Firmware is only for T970v2, don't use on the older model (T970v1)
Flash with Rockchip Flasher 1.5, flash mode is entered on the T970 by pressing Power and Vol- buttons, see JMITech documentation (in French)

hello i have a jmitabv2 with actually the orgos v1-0C rom installed
i have the cw-based recovery v5.5.0.4 installed
i would like to know how to transform your rom compatible with recovery rom
if i install your is my cw-based recovery v5.5.0.4 will be delete
sorry for my english
merci
Flashing our firmware (post #1) will erase all your data and remove the existing recovery to replace it with the default one provided in the stock firmware.
Still, it is possible to flash our firmware, then flash just your favorite recovery image. You'll need RKAndroidtool, your CWM Recovery image file and the parameter file from our firmware.
Another option is that we rebuild our custom firmware with your CWM Recovery built in, but I won't be able to do that immediately.
Cheers.

Cheers.
