Use Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7 to flash the firmware, use Restore button.
Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have an iFive X3 to test it.

Restore (or install) was successful. No problems so far.
Unfortunately, it seems the X3 is no different from my other RockChip device in that there is something inherently missing from the firmware that lets Google Play identify the device as the same exact device prior to flashing (this has nothing to do with the Kasty firmware, it is something about RockChip device firmware). This prevents the store from automatically restoring all the apps that were previously installed.
My Samsung phone lets me flash a brand new firmware and Google Play will identify it as the same device before and restore all my apps.
I'm not sure what is missing. I have tried fooling with the build.prop file on my other RockChip device (Minix Neo X5) and that was not successful. I also tried backing up the "Settings" information using Titanium Backup. Also no dice. Not sure what else to try.
Perhaps it is something that is in CyanogenMod/AOSP forks (which is what I flash on my phone) that allows this behavior?

Great ROM, just bought my X3 and installed it right away!
- ArcTools seems a bit problematic: Cannot find "iFive X2 Android 4.4.2 CWM Recovery by ManuPC" so I cannot install the correct recovery
Also struggling with renaming a 2nd user from the default "new user" to anything else. Settings crashes every time... Workaround was to create the new user from a Terminal window:
"pm create-user someusername"
Apart from this, I am a happy camper for now
To prevent user mistakes, the CWM package support in ArcTools is added for each new firmware, looks like it hasn't been done yet for this new 2014/02/11 X2 firmware, I will have a look.
About multi-user, it still seems to be unsupported (or not properly implemented) by the manufacturers in Rockchip KitKat firmwares. The patch didierm brought did the job so far, but it may not be fully stable. Thanks for the tip about the pm command.
Cheers.

thanks for your work, all works great!
Is there a chance you could add in the rom the sound mod as I still think is still low in sound.
Or is there any apk I could use please?
Look at this guide here for the X2. It works the same way as for the X3:

Setting - security - screen security - enable widgets
You can now delete the iFive weather widget from the lock screen and add another of your liking (there is a simple clock built in)
Still haven't found a way to avoid the random iFive wallpapers on the lock screen, but can live with that...

+1 on both statements. But I actually like the wallpapers. Keeps things fresh...or some semblance of it.

And i still have problems with bluetooth. It won't connect to my Philips SBH-9001 Bluethooth headset.
It says: Cannot communicate with (name of device).
Is there a problem with the bluetooth radio? FNF wont answer my support questions.
I have not experienced problems. I have successfully paired with my Samsung Galaxy S4 (which obviously isn't a media headset), which it sees as a phone (with the phone icon) and I have successfully tethered internet through that bluetooth connection.

Indeed the tablet recognizes my phone, and my phone can also connect to my headset ( also running android 4.4.2)
I'm just finding it so strange that the tablet wont recognize it.
