Hi ,
I retired to install the ROM in this post several times and always get black screen since than
Yes please if you can download the official latest ROM for me (put it in the DROP BOX) and i will retry to install it.
I am doing the guide in the wiki so i am wondering if indeed bad IMG can cause a blank screen.
Thanks .

Make sure you are using the Restore button when flashing in Rockchip Batch Tool.
I doubt a bad image issue would happen, as you would probably catch up an error coming when unziping the archive file, also in some cases Rockchip Batch Tool may complain when loading or flashing if the update.img has a damaged structure.
Cheers.

3- Hit 'Upgrade'
We recommend to use Restore button not Upgrade for a proper firmware flashing.
Cheers.

Just got my X3 yesterday.
Took me a while to figure out how to do it...if I had just read this page from the start, it would have saved me lots of headaches: https://www.miniand.com/wiki/Flashing+a+new+firmware+image+to+the+iFive+X3+Step+by+Step
Flashed the Kasty 4.4.2 firmware, and all is good. Only issue I have had so far was inbetween reboots (before I figured out how to flash, i.e. I was still using the stock firmware) one time my screen appeared like it was on 256 colors (think of Windows 95/98 when you changed the 24bit colors to 256 colors), but a reboot fixed that.
Like with my Minix Neo X5 (rockchip RK3066), I had issues getting my 64bit Core i7 laptop to recognize the device and accept the x64 driver in support/upgrade mode. Thankfully I have my trusty old 32bit netbook which does the job fine.
Who is Kasty and what potential is there for modding this ROM?

Hi, is there a known problem that Bluetooth of the X3 doesn't see other devices?I won't recognize my phone or my Bluetooth headset!
I had no problem pairing my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) with the X3.
