Same here, just upgraded with the latest firmware (first time I did this, just received my iFive X2 and I am a complete android n00b) and it works very well, not glitches or whatever.

The only thing I have to research now is how to modify the lockscreen or replace this by something else (no more weather app and random images on the lockscreen).

A paypal payment is underway!

I will add manupc kernel in ArcTools packages and make sure his CWM is also visible on 2.0.1 firmware.

Anyone has tested the new firmware patched for multi-user, see my post #25 ? I would like to get some users feedback on this.

Cheers.

How do I install manupc kernel in ArcTools?  In ArcTools, I don't see the kernel as an option to download and install.  Please help.  Thanks

Enjoy

I'm running 2222's KitKat v2.0.1 ROM which should be very similar to Kasty's KitKat v2.0.1 ROM.  Before the manupc's OC kernel, my Antutu score was 19,213, it's now 21,332.  Pretty good gain.  Real life use shows a real good boost too.  Kudos to manupc.

I hooked up the X2 to my PC, ran RKAndroidTool v1.37 in Windows 7 and flashed the .img file.  The easier way is ArcTools app which you do it on the X2 tablet alone.  Start the app, choose the kernel from the list, hit download then install.

I have added the overclocked kernel (CPU 1800 Mhz, GPU 798 Mhz, DDR 720 Mhz) for firmware 2.01 in ArcTools, you will find the package under the name: "iFive X2 2014/01/21 Overclocked Kernel (cpu1800_gpu798_ddr720) by ManuPC"

Cheers.

Wow - thanks for enabling us to test the OC kernels - both work very reliably here so far. But kernels ensure an antutu score of >22k !!!

The one with more graphics power seems to be the cpu1800_gpu798_ddr720, which has some minor d3 glitches during benchmark. Other usecases than during benchmark are robust and without any issues. The smoother UI experience is definitely the cpu1800_gpu798_ddr720 which has the highest antutu score of >22700

Thanks again for your great work !

I can't seem to find this OC Kernel in arctools. How exactly do you findit?

I have the ghosting problem and I want to see if slowing it down will help

Thanks

@elygator - I just started the arctools app and I've found in the dropdown list both kernels and the cwm recovery from manupc. I was rather easy and nothing I have pulled from my side. Maybe closing the app and starting again might trigger the ruild of the dropdown list.

Cheers

It is possible but then you would be missing another clock step between 300 and 1800 since max allowed steps are 7. Less steps means bigger jumps and more chance to lag.

I have chosen to skip 300 step because 500 is already running with less voltage and allowed me to create a much more smooth table. This way you get less lags in applications.

Hi, I have tried to install "iFive X2 2014/01/21 Overclocked Kernel (cpu1800_gpu798_ddr720) by ManuPC" but after i download it in arctools and press install it keeps standing on running script(1) but doesn't do anything. Is it already active now or not? i have waited for 1 hour and it still keeps standing on running script(1).
