Antutu result between 21,4 and 21,7 k with overclocked kernel. First, I didn't have the calendar sync, so I had to put the relevant apk in system/app with adapted authorizations.

Sorry for the wrong quote.

For the admin, using Chrome on my PC to answer in this forum is working weird (wrong quote, only on line visible when I write, ...), I had to change of explorer to firefox.

Shouldn't that be rwx r-x r-x instead? Ie chmod 755

Sorry for the forum issues, it is acting strange lately and I am having hard time fixing all the bugs on the forum software.

About the two apk you added (GooglecalendarSyncadapter.apk and googlecontactssyncadapter.apk) could you tell me on which tablet and firmware you extract those ? Do you have a download link for the files so I can include them in next X2 firmware rebuild.

I installed this ROM as well and so far I have had no graphic glitches whatsoever. I have installed a ton of stuff from Google Play. One thing I did (and I always do this on rooted ROMs), is I installed and ran Busybox Installer by Jrummy Apps, inc. This uninstalls the installed busybox binary and then downloads and installs the latest busybox binary. It also symlinks the installed busybox. I do this with any new rooted ROM as a kind of litmus test to confirm I have root. I don't know if this has anything to do with my lack of glitches, however.

I have noticed a couple of minor issues. The mount points must not be standard as I noticed when I set the screen capture to save to my sdcard, I get an error when trying to do a screenshot.

MX Video Player will not play any of my videos in HW+ mode. MX player played all my videos in HW+ mode on all the 4.2 ROMs.

Hello everyone

i installed the KitKat room yesterday and everything is just perfect and i havent had any problems with it so far except one :

i tried to connect a USB 3G Doungle and i can see the Doungle flashing blue but when i try going to settings and put the APN settings and such as .. the tablet doesnt save the settings no matter what i do .. can anyone try doing the same and see how it goes .. thanks in advance

Funny thing... I installed Google Calendar from the Play Store and that synces my calendar with Google without any problems whatsover... also I see 'Calendar' under Settings>Accounts>MyGoogleAccountName. But in System/app I don't have a GooglecalendarSyncadapter.apk.

I copied and installed the GooglecalendarSyncadapter.apk from my phone but that's from Android 4.2. It shows up under the Google account settings, but it won't sync and causes a com.google.process.gapps has stopped error.

So I've downloaded the 4.4.2. gapps (Slim_minimal_gapps.4.4.2.beta.1.x) from Slimroms.net, unzipped and copied GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk to System/app, installed the apk and now my contacts sync as well 🙂

I get this too, but it doesn't bother me that much. I guess it is compiling the apps over again, dunno if that's normal.

This Rom is so good. However I found that it doesn't support ntfs write and it doesn't read exfat formatted microsd. I really like to have >4g file support back cause I want to watch 1080p videos on it, which are mostly > 4g. It can read ntfs, but just can't write to ntfs. It means I can't do use the microsd to do titanium backup.

Kasty, can you add ntfs write support or full exfat support?
