Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have an iFive X2 to test it.
Thanks Cel1971 for the tipÂ

Thank you for this firmware.
But you wrote "removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications".
The ifive player is not unnecessary. He is like 2160p Gallery good optimized for MALI400 and can AVCHD Videos without timelag between picture and sound in any situation. Th MX Player can this, if you don´t touch the display while watching, so the player has not to show his symbols.
Was there a new version of the ifive Player?

Thanks for the new firmware.:)
I personally quite happy with the stock task bar which I can fully ultilise the full screen by tap on the full screen icon and the kill all icon from the notification manuel, would it be possible to add this feature back or provide the apk , so we can have our own choice to install?
Thanks
Android system supports many languages, including Finish. I don't have an X2 to confirm, but it is certainly present on the tablet.
Cheers.

There's a pitfall with the busybox installation. There's a lonely busybox link for run-parts living in "/system/bin" that points to "busybox". This works fine with fresh rom install but if you grab stericson's busybox installer and update busybox, it'll stop working as busybox will move to "/system/xbin" by default. It appears the busybox installation included is far from complete, for example "find" command is missing. All other "busybox-like" links in /system/bin point to "toolbox" incidentally.Â
Stericson installer will not touch the run-parts shortcut by default and even if you force smart-install to overwrite it, it'll still point to "busybox" which will not work.Â
run-parts is of course needed for init.d support, it's called from /init.rc.Â
I believe including "/system/xbin" into path should fix the issue. Alternatively moving busybox to /system/xbin where stericson's installer defaults to should take care of it. Including the complete busybox installation created by stericson's apk in the ROM would be ideal of course.Â
Barleyman,
Current busybox build I use in the firmwares did good so far.
Thanks for your feedback, that's the first time this has been reported, I'll consider the request.
About including "the complete busybox installation created by stericson's apk", I would need to check with the author as I am not sure I am allowed to redistribute the binaries without permission.
Cheers.
