seems to run pretty well , a bit laggy sometimes , but i love root :)

antutu was 16690 , pretty good

wifi seems not the best , but ok for that price

the tablet is really good and the display is ok

hope to see cyanogen soon :)

flashing did a factoryreset and erased internal storage (i think)

hope that cleared some questions

going 2 play some games now :)

... Switch the iFive X2 off, press the volume"+" button, keep it pressed in and then connect the tablet with an usb cable to the computer.

3. Installing the drivers on the computer

Following the tablet entering in flashing mode, the computer should now show it has found a new USB device and prompt for a device driver. Select the appropriate driver in the driver directory from the Rockchip Flash Tool 1.7 package, then select the right folder that corresponds to your computer platform and operating systems.

There are 6 supported systems:
in drivers32bits folder you will find subdirectories for the following operating systems: (Windows 2000 drivers, Windows XP, Vista and Win7 in 32 bits).
in drivers64bits you have directories supporting (Windows Vista and Win7)...

...Sorry, but my english ist to bad to write it in own words :-)

Here is a rooted custom firmware for the FNF iFive X2 tablet based on official version 1.0.5

(ifiveX2_FW_411_V1.0.9.rar)

Build information:

Linux Kernel: Linux version 3.0.36+ (root@ubuntu) #287 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jun 6 09:42H CST 2013

Android build: IFive/rk30sdk/rk30sdk:4.1.1/JRO03H/ifive.Quad-Core.20130517.102849:eng/ifive-keys

Custom firmware features:

  • root with latest SuperSU 1.32 (free version)
  • removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications
  • Google Play Store fixes so more applications are visible/compatible
  • updated busybox v1.21.0.git (2012-11-29)
  • Unix like init.d boot scripts support, more details on init.d scripts here
  • Android 4.2 AOSP stock launcher from here

Download: kasty-fnf_ifive_x2-411-109-rooted3.zip

Use Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7 to flash the firmware, don't flash using the "sdcard" method.

Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have an iFive X2 to test it.

Hi,

I bought the tablet directly in China but it lags sometimes especially when loading websites with many pictures. Therefore I would like to root the tablet. Never did that before. Can somebody please tell me how I can do that.

I read some blogs already and all I got to know is that I have to start it with power button and the volume + button pressed together.

But afterwards I have no clue.

Can somebody send me alink or something that explains it in detail?

Thank you very much!
