Use Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7 to flash the firmware, don't flash using the "sdcard" method.
Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have an iFive X2 to test it.

I just flashed now to 1.09 and it works fine. Â I used the 1.7 version of rk tools. Â Go for it!
Hi, Â is there a possibility that my tablet Ifive x2 will get hard brick when I flash firmware? If so is there any guide to revert back to stock firmware? Â Will this custom firmware speed up the tablet or prolonged its battery life?

I just got my x2 today. Â Works great. Â Very nice feel and size. Â Like it better than my cube u30gt2 so far.
I have updated the pad from 1.08 to 1.09 already. Â Feels smooth and fast. Â Very nice screen. Â More later after more experience.
Definately worth the $200 I paid for it. Â Even got free dhl shipping right to my door. Â Kids are using my u30gt2 now.

Hi all again.
Got a few more hours with my x2 and still very pleased. Â The size and weight feel good. Â Light and easy to take around. Â
One thing apart from the fantastic screen and resolution is the front facing speakers. Â What a different experience to side facing speakers that get covered with the hands. Â The sound just reaches your ears the way it should.
I have used headphones and that works well too. Â No scientific tests, but it sounds good. Â No problem here.
Let me go check bluetooth. Â No problems with skype or twitch or youtube. Â More tomorrow.
btw, bought from here on aliexpress. Â No kickbacks to me.

Hej vildkatten!!! (swedish...)
I guess i am in the same boat as you are. I own the pipo m8 (my sons) and cube u30gt2 (mine). I am now thinking of getting this x2 tablet, found it online a couple of days ago. I think the format will suit me better. The cube is quite heavy. First I have some questions if you don't mind?
- How is the screen compared to the cube? Brighter or not? I saw in a youtube video that the viewing angle is superb.Â
- How is build quality?
- Audio quality?
- Wifi range? Better then cube which is so so?
- Is the charger included ok? It does not charge via the usb since it is a rockchip model, I guess?
If possible can you upload some pictures somewhere?
Edit:
Of course, one more thing. How good is Android implemented? My cube hangs for seconds from time to time, especially when "jumping around". Running apps is no problem. Then it is always good.
And battery life, is it good? Better or worse compared to the Cube?
seems to run pretty well , a bit laggy sometimes , but i love root
antutu was 16690 , pretty good
wifi seems not the best , but ok for that price
the tablet is really good and the display is ok
hope to see cyanogen soon
flashing did a factoryreset and erased internal storage (i think)
hope that cleared some questions
going 2 play some games now
