Use Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.5 to flash the firmware, don't flash using the "sdcard" method.
Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have an iFive mini to test it.

Hi Admin,
I have tried the kasty-fnf_ifive_mini2-411-134-rooted4_2 ROM from other post and its working fine, then I saw this post and wanna try what is new with this, seems to be a higher version but my screen seems to have problem with this one as if the device have water damage on it, hmmmm i dunno if this is because of this rom or if my device was really deective, my device was stock in the recovery system screen and the screen was distorted..
I will try to flash the other version if i can connect this to my PC but for now im still stuck on the recovery system screen..
phew! hope its not bricked. any suggestion will help.

I have a rooted ifive 2 with CWM recovery. What I do NOT have is a windows pc for running the tool. Can I not use my recovery to flash the zip from the sdcard?
Cheers!
I'm afraid Rockchip Batch Tool is the only way to flash this firmware.

I'm not sure, but I think PicUntu guys have something in the works, but nothing published yet.
The only alternative is rkflashtool, but it's not designed for update.img style of image and you'd need to split the images with rktools and make sure you flash each individual partition image to the right offset according to the parameter file.

Hi,
can I use this for ifive x, also fw 411 v 1.46? Having problem rooting the device as the winxp device manager cannot detect and install the usb driver. Btw, where can I download the usb driver for ifivex?
This firmware is for Ifive 2, it won't work on the iFive X.
The drivers to flash the tablet on Windows system are included in the package here: Rockchip Batch Tool
Cheers.

We don't have one at the moment, but if you point me to the latest stock firmware for the iFive X, we should be able to build a rooted firmware.
Cheers.

Is there any way to build a hybrid rom based on this one and the ifive x2 android 4.2.2 rom? It would be really cool to have android 4.2.2 on our ifive 2 tablets.

Error when rooting with superoneclick: device does not have drivers installed. Installing driver from any rockchip batch tool (v1.5 , v1.6, v.17) always get this msg from device manager: cannot continue hardware update wizard. The wizard could not find a better match for your hardware than the software you currently have installed. What should I do?
