I sometimes have to write up documents for work when I'm remote to the office, and I don't really want to have to lug the laptop around with me to do it, so I was looking around for Bluetooth keyboards that I could use with the ifive mini 3.
I was planning on buying the Logitech Android keyboard to use with my mini 3 as it was around AU$75 and it comes with a little stand to site the tablet on; most of the cheaper keybaords didn't come with a stand for the tablet. I went out at lunch today to grab one, but I walked into another store which had the Logitech iPad mini folio keyboards for $23 discount which was also $75. I thoguht I'd give it a go because I liked the idea of having a case for the tablet as well as the keyboard.
I was a little worried that the mini 3 would fall out of the iPad mini case, but it fits nice and tightly. The girl at the store tried to tell me I couldn't use an android device with an Apple accessory, but I connected via Bluetooth with no problems at all.
I still may take this back though and go for the Logitech Android keyboard only because it's slightly bigger and probably more comfortable to type with, but for now, this seems like it does the job well.
I realise that most people probably wouldn't want to use a keyboard on their mini 3, but I thought it was worthwhile mentioning for anyone out there that might be. I guess it also means that other iPad mini cases should be a direct fit.
