Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !
Hello,
To start my new topic, sorry for my bad english because i'm french.
I want to speak about ifive tablets brand. I m moderator of ifive section on http://www.tablette-chinoise.net and i have a ifive mx 3g.Â
Ifive website : http://www.ifive.com.cn
So i want to make custom rom based on stock rom but i m a noob on android. So if there is anybody who want to help me he is welcome.
Thanks a lot.
On http://www.tablette-chinoise.net , i made some tutorials to root, flash ... on ifive tablet which ibased on rk3066 actually.
If you have a direct download link to the stock firmware, I can build a rooted custom firmware for you.
Cheers.

Have you a tutorial to do this ? I'm interested to learn to do this and a little more because i want to suppress a ifive lancher skin and ifive screenlocker.
Thanks
I don't know of an all in one tutorial, I learned from many resources on the Internet and hundreds of hours of research and practice.
Some keywords to search for are "rk3066 firmware modification system.img boot.img"
I'll see if I can do a clean firmware for the Ifive MX 3G

BTW, is there anything special about those IFive tablets, are they particularly popular ?
I am wondering if I should open an iFive section in our forum.

Yes, that is a good place from where to start.
After that you need to learn how the rkutils works.
How to unpack/repack boot/recovery.img and many other things .

very goodthanks for you, my ifive mini will love it
Hello! I am thinking of buying a iFive mini and looking for reviews around the web, and I read yours. I was wondering if your iFive mini was the Mini3? If so, do you have a feedback or review on it? I am a light user (browsing, google games such as candy crush and angry birds etc, ebook reading and some youtube watching) Will this tablet be enough (with the 1Gb Ram).Â
Hope to hear your feedback..
