Hi,

Is there someone planning to create a custom firmware for the iFive mini 3GS?

It will be great since I don't like the chinese app that we can't remove and the launcher too.

It's in the plans.

I am not very familiar with tablets using MTK processor but I have an older device (Cube U55GT) where I should be able to work on building a custom firmware.

If all goes well I should then be able to use the same process to make custom firmwares for other MTK based tablets such as the iFive mini 3GS. I'll post when something is ready for testing.

I've seen on some website that the iFive mini 3GS is rooted.

Did you plan to try a custom firmware next weeks?

I will really glad to have something else than the stock...
