iFive has made enough tablets (and there are enough posts in this forum for separate products) that I think it is worth separating the posts into subforums.

I accidentally downloaded an X2 firmware for my X3 (thankfully I checked the name before attempting to flash on my X3). It is getting a bit crowded with all the different tablets...and especially the list of pinned ROM topics (which I appreciate, but is just too long because of all the different tablets).

Request subforums for:
iFive X
iFive X2
iFive X3
iFive Mini
iFive Mini2
iFive Mini3
iFive MX
iFive S
iFive 2S
iFive 2SHD
iFive 1 (RK2918 ... http://www.eggree.com/fnf-ifive-9-7-ips-android-4-0-tablet-pc-rk2918-1-2ghz-16gb.html)
iFive F1 (RK2918 ... http://www.meebing.com/blog/fnf-ifive-f1-9-7-inch-ips-screen-android-4-0-3-tablet-pc/)
iFive 2
iFive 3

Would be nice to have a landing zone for iFive tablets. No other forum has stepped up to the plate, and frankly most of them have piss poor discussion communities for this brand (FreakTab, TabletRepublic,

Flashing should be taken seriously and everything including the device type and firmware name should be really double checked, we mean it.

Your suggestion about making the iFive forum more readable make sense, but there are many models that don't get that much traffic so I am wondering if it would be interesting to group the sub-forums with something like the X models, Mini models, S models, etc...

What do you all think ?

Cheers.

Yes, it was a short-sighted mistake which I thankfully corrected by re-reading the filename (admittedly, I downloaded the file well before my tablet came in anticipation of its arrival to save time).

I agree, there are some much-less-trafficed models that exist, perhaps just as a landing spot for discussion they can be grouped into a subforum called Legacy Products (like the 1, F1, Mini, X1, etc.). I think the only ones that are common are the X3, X2, Mini3, Mini2, MX, 2S and 2SHD (just going by what is available on most reseller websites like DealsPrime, BangGood, GeekBuying, etc.).

Forum reorganization is in the works, I will post again when it's complete.

Cheers.
