Hi All,

Im new to the site and am looking for some assistance with resolving my boot issue.

When turning on device it stays on android screen.

I know it uses the rockchip RK3066 processor please if any1 could assist me with the process to getting this sorted. My daughter cries about it night and day and wants me to buy a new 1. I have my MCSe amongst others so I know there is a fix for this. and that I am capable of repairing it myself as the tech shops want R800 just to reload the OS which I feel is ridiculous.

PLEASE HELP.

Hi Oma,

I thank you firstly for your response.

The 1st screen says onyx

2nd is the android animation and that's where it stays

Ok, then we can try to dump the firmware first. Is ADB working?
