Hello,

 

I'm looking for a way to fix my Klipad tablet.

I found here a custom rom for Sumvision Cyclone Odyssey and I thought it would work but no luck, the tablet ended up in a boot loop. Thanks to other topics I tried several other kernels but none of them work. The closest I got to was the "RK3026_sekernel_3036_86v_800x480_incar", the tablet boots fine but the touchscreen doesn't work.

 

I don't understand because it's written "Klipad Cyclone Odyssey" on the tablet so I thought it was the same model :/

Anyway, I tried to find a stock firmware but Klipad doesn't provide firmwares online...

Thanks for your answer!

I did try this stock firmware but the tablet ended up in a bootloop... 

I tried to contact Klipad, the only answer I got was to do a factory reset (it seems they didn't know what a factory image is)

What do you mean with bootloop? Do you see the kernel logo?

I do see the logo "Sumvision Cyclone" but the image and colors are weird, then the screen goes black, and the logo comes back after a couple of seconds and so on.

Ok, then it is not the right kernel for your hardware.

Tell them what your serial-number is and keep pressure on them to provide the right firmware.
