Hi all,

I have a couple of LevyDal Kids 7" tablets that got for my kids and so far everything went fine until I decided to have the launcher replaced by another one as the one that comes with the embedded system started removing the shortcuts to the games I've installed to my kids and that became very annoying (had to exit the launcher for adding the shortcuts back again, etc).

Unfortunately the new launcher seems to have done something on the system that now prevents the tablet to complete boot normally. When I boot the tablet under normal circumstances, the start-up screen with the brand's logo remains all the time active without access to the unlock screen nor the main screen.

When I connect the tablet to the PC (via USB) it seems the tablet detects the connection and I'm able to activate/deactivate the USB connection but just for accessing the SDCARD data; unfortunately I'm still stuck on this window and have no access at all to the tablet, except that this time I may get the UI error message (hence why I believe the problem relies on the launcher).

Tried contacting the manufacturer (a Maxican company) and I had no luck.

I believe there are a lot of RK3026 compatible roms out there but unfortunately I don't know many of some of the necessary technical details for picking up the right one and I don't want to brick it so, I come to you all looking for some guide and advice.

RK3026 ARM9 tablet with 512MB RAM/8GB ROM/800x480 screen res/no bluetooth and I really don't know which WIFI chip they have.
