If you're still around I can attempt to backup my firmware for the rulu x10. The serial number is x1047USJYJ1409031. I searched the irulu download section and found nothing though.

I tried omas root and dump method and nothing happened. Im not smart enough to figure it out. However, I found the irulu download has a "x1046usjyj" file. Maybe that will work for you.

Yes I found the "x1046usjyj" file too but I don't know how to flash it to the device and I believe this file is meant to be flashed through cwm. Now the easiest way to backup the firmware using AndroidTool v2.1 is:

1. Open AndroidTool v2.1

2. Go to Advanced Function tab

3. On the Start field put 0 and on Count a very large number like 9999999

4. Press ExportImage and the program will create an Output folder where the firmware file will be located.

If you need more help let me know.

I'm probably wrong but don't you put that file on an SD card and boot the tablet into recovery mode and update from the SD card?

So it turns out my tablet doesn't have a rockchip. My tablet has an arm cortex a-7 mt8127. That doesn't help you huh?
