Possibly some issues with the NAND. Flash again, incl. Lower Format.

Install this via CWM: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2673

You can load the CWM by clicking on the empty box at the end of the line.

Hey man,

your download link from comment 13 already contained a recovery.img. Isn't that the right one?
Do I need a different one?
Thanks for your support.

Sure, that's the stock recovery. It will format the NAND.

I must have been blind!
Indeed, everything smoothly packed there. After installing the revocery_cwm I was also able to install your additional zip.
Now the sceen is 90° turned wrong instead of 180° 😉

And how do I exit apps? There are not software buttons on the bottom of the screen?
Thanks

Download again and try: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2673

What do you mean by no software buttons? There should be the task bar at the button.

Somehow the tab and me wont get best friends. Now it does not start any longer for half a day. Alsways hanging in boot screen. Only hardware reset on the back turns it off.

Then it turned off after several hours and on the next reboot it boots properly again. Its wired.

Yes, there is NO menu bar like you showed one in your screenshot. The bottom line is empty. This is also what I meant with "software buttons".

Sound like a defective NAND. Typical quality issue of these cheap tabs.

Ohh no! Seriously?

I just bought that device 3 weeks ago for new. I know it is cheap but that should not happen.

Is there

a) a way to verify that NAND in broken?

b) restore the initial OS?

Then I would send it back to refund.
Thanks much

No simple way to verify that. Use the flash pack and change the dumped boot.img, recovery.img and system.img.

I've tried installing my own dumped recovery.img, etc that I shared with you. But seems they are broken, as the device does not boot when they are applied.

The ones from your download pack do work. Do you have some stock images at hand that I can test?

Thanks much.

Attached pls find the parameter file for the 70c. Change in folder rockdev. Change also all dumped images (boot, kernel, recovery, system) in folder rockdev/Image. Flash incl. LowerFormat.

Change with what? I used my own backup images that I created and shared with you via Dropbox. But they didnt work.
The recovery was still a CWM and the bootlogo showed your own one.

I'd like to revert to a state that I can sefely send back the device.

Thanks much

The dumped images are ok. Just use the parameter from post #28. When the stock recovery is gone leave everything out in CWM.
