Bootloader for RK3126 taken from http://www.ibeta.com.tw/NT-D205(7-3)V1501%20RK3126%20FIRMWARE.exe (self-extracting WinRAR archive).
Thank you guys for sharing all those loaders for rk3288 and rk312x. But make yourself clear that there is also a loader in the uboot partiton.

This is a Hifi-Player, right? Is the firmware available?

Yes sir! The update.img file is inside this archive, which contains the kernel, boot, fw, etc. FW 3.1.6_Beta.Zip
I used This to extract it. Download RK3066_IMG_Mod_Tool.zip and rename the update.img file "wendal.img" and dragged it inside the RK3066_IMG_Mod_Tool folder, then simply pressed "Runme" and then 1 to unpack, but you most likely already know all of this.
Here are the extracted files just in case MEGA
Let me also link an older FW that contains a RK3188Loader(L)_V2.15.bin inside and older kernel/boot files, which are Here
I tried using the CWM from CrewRKTablets which I got here.
It gives me "Can't Mount /cache/recovery/command/" and can't open /dev/block/platform/ff0f0000.rksdmmc" errors and more. Which is similar to another generic CWM recovery I flashed on my X7 yesterday, which is from Here. I also tried TWRP from this site and this other site. TWRP, which doesn't boot eiither. None of them work yet sadly.
When I use ArcTools to flash Rockchip Generic it stays at "Running script (1)" then gives me Error 71. So there is some protection/incompatibility I'm assuming. This is as much info as I could give, I'll add more when I find some.
Sure. Development for RK3188 stops with KK running on a 3.0.36+ kernel.
You are running LP:
Boot is locked:
Selinux is present.
CMDLINE:console=ttyFIQ0 androidboot.baseband=N/A androidboot.selinux=permissive androidboot.hardware=rk30board androidboot.console=ttyFIQ0 init=/init initrd=0x62000000,0x00800000 mtdparts=rk29xxnand:0x00002000@0x00002000(misc),0x00006000@0x00004000(kernel),0x00006000@0x0000a000(boot),
Kernel is present in kernel partition, however bigger then 8 MB:
3.0.101+ #561 preempt 17 Feb 2017
Also it seems the tab uses eMMC:
# Android fstab file.
/dev/block/platform/emmc/by-name/system /system ext4 ro,noatime,nodiratime,noauto_da_alloc wait,resize
/dev/block/platform/emmc/by-name/cache /cache ext4 noatime,nodiratime,nosuid,nodev,noauto_da_alloc,discard wait

/dev/block/platform/emmc/by-name/userdata /data ext4 noatime,nodiratime,nosuid,nodev,noauto_da_alloc,discard wait,encryptable=/metadata/key_file
/devices/platform/emmc/mmc_host/mmc /mnt/internal_sd vfat defaults voldmanaged=internal_sd:11,noemulatedsd
/devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc /mnt/external_sd vfat defaults voldmanaged=external_sd:auto
/devices/platform/usb20 /mnt/usb_storage vfat defaults voldmanaged=usb_storage:auto
/dev/block/zram0 none swap defaults zramsize=67108864
Unfortunately for this we do not have any development here. Sorry.

Gosh. That's a shame, simply replacing the newer kernel/boot files with the older ones from FW 2.0 works too!
BUT, the oldest I have is 3.0.36+. Would you let me know what's the latest files you support? I think I can simply replace it with a different kernel to see if that works, if it doesn't, I can simply flash it back to the original fw. How would I go around unlocking the bootloader by the way? I'll look around in freaktab and see what documentation they have.
Forgot to say, It gives me root permissions but it also gives me a bootloop/black screen when trying to install xposed. Is there a way to install xposed without CWM/TWRP or is it futile?
Xposed does not work on Rockchip LP builds for unknown reason. This is all a dead end. Enjoy the Player as it is.
