Hello,

First, excuse my awful English language, I am best in French.... Hope you understand me however !

On my new U9GTV I restart in factory restart because some apps seems to give problems and uninstall these ones don't change situation.

With this restart, I loose French language and I found Chinese... Not easy to read !

Here, I can found solution to my problem and I download Rockchip batch tool and firmware katst rooted2.

I launch restore with these tools, after green button and few minutes a message 'failed (1)' appear.

Impossible now for me to restart tablet, impossible too to download again, the button is no more green but blue... only few seconds and usb is deconnected on my PC.

Hope you have a idea to help me.

Thanks a lot.

Use another usb cable, and the usb ports from the back of the pc unit (if you have a laptop it does not matter which port)
Get the tablet in flashsing mode
Connect the tablet to the pc, and reflash it using the RESTORE option. You can try from rockchip tools, the option SWITCH which should bring the square colors from BLUE to GREEN

Thanks globula_neagra for your fast reply.

Unfortunately, I try about 30 times, everytime the PC see the tablet on USB only 2 seconds, no more.

I try on 2 pc, Windows 7, windows xp, where the tablet's drver was installed.

Everytime, the button is blue, never green, even if I press 'switch'.

I have no solution. I try with another pc with windows 7 but impossible to install driver because time on usb is very very short and tablet immediatly disconnected.

Have you an idea ?

Thanks a lot.

Hello again

Perhaps it will be possible to restore another file.ini , just to power on U9GTV more longer...

It is just an idea to have time to restore entire good file.ini

Thanks.

Yves

Hey, Globula_neagra

Yes, I try with another cable, try too with and without external power on tablet ...

Same results.

Many times the boot stop quickly (at Maskrom Start) and continue few seconds when I push again on buttons on tablet. Bur unfortunately it stops after 2/3 times.

Another detail : when square comes blue on PC, if I release buttons on tablet, my window 'USB Deconnected' comes immediately. Even after 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 seconds.

I understand I must keep buttons pushed few seconds after GREEN square and the connection is OK.

It was good the first time when I flash it.

Now, this blue square, impossible to keep the usb ON...

Thanks.

Use the usb ports from the back of the pc unit
Use another usb cable
Use another pc
Use the restore option, not upgrade
There is also an older rockchip flasher, which can format the idb (nand)

So if you compare with the video below, it just fails after Download IDB start ? with the "Download IDB failed" error ?

That looks like a problem with a flash memory (damaged NAND memory) Confused

I would also think about a PC / USB / cable problem, but it appears unlikely since you tried on different machines and different cables.

Have you tried flashing other Cube UG9GT5 (or compatible) firmwares ?

globula is right, you can also try RK_Android_Tool_v1.35.zip (RKAndroidTool.exe)

Use EraseIDB button, then try again to flash with RockchipBatchTool.
