Here is a custom rooted firmware version of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean based on official Cube version 1.03
Features:
- root with SuperSU 0.96 (free version)
- writable /system partition
- removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications
- increased space for application (/data partition) to 2 Gb.

Rooted custom firmware for the CUBE U9GT4: kasty-cube_u9gt4-41-103-rooted.zip
Use Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.5 to flash the firmware.

Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have a Cube U9GT4 to test it.

Thank you for the great ROM. I am unable to find any other ROMs for U9GT4. However
, the internet is choppy here and the link does not support resume downloading. I've tried 14 times. This one time, I actually reached 210 MB, but had to start again. Can you please, a) Â chop it in small pecies, b) upload it to a resumable service, or upload a torrent.

I will be greatly obliged. I have already used most of the space in tablet and really need this.

Yes. Tried both 
 . No avail unfortunately. I am sure It's nothing wrong with either of them, however, the service I get is a bit choppy.

Sorry, I find de answer in other post... (turn of your tablet now plug it to the pc via usb now press the volume up and the power button)

Hi, I have a tablet U9GT4 Cube.
 I have problems with it than others. I thought about it that will give the new firmware. by admin.
Anyone tried it?
Since I'm a newbie, could not find anyone who could write precise instructions as afterwards.what needs to be done in detail. admin?

Ok. First Download This~ http://www.arctablet.com/blog/downloads/firmware/Cube/kasty-cube_u9gt4-41-103-rooted.zip/
Second Turn Tablet Off, Hold Volume Up + Power, Open RKBatchTool Select Update.img
Then Press Upgrade Wait For Finish, Tablet Will Reboot By itself. Finish Success.Â

Hey, I tried.
After this step, the Second Tablet Turn Off Hold Volume Up + Power, Open RKBatchTool Select Update.img all was well. Then found driver for pc tablet and RK Batch tool did not find any device.The downloaded files are drivers but also to help.I have windows 7 32bit.Did someone?thank you

Works fine on my cube u9gt4.
With original firmware the tablet are'nt capable to determine real batery status and rebots when 50% battery drops.
now, it seems to work better and there are'nt eboots.
Thanks for this firmware mod.
