hi folks,

here is the list of my issues:

1- auto shutdown when battery is coming under

2- browser is crashing when i try to use vocal search

3- some compatibility minor issue with flash content and web browser (chrome seems to be the best, ff the worst)

4- minor compatibility issues with few apk, but this may be due to me :-)

as for now, except the battery issue, and the poor quality of the charger, this device rocks!!!

Hi coincoin, how long does your Cube last before shutting down? Mine can shut down within 30 minutes at 60%. But when it came it would actually sustain 3-4 hours of demanding gameplay without shutting down.

I might have a faulty battery cell here but it's hard to say for sure.

Thanks

Try to close all the working apps before you put your tablet in stand-by.

Go to settings/apps/running apps, and close everything from there.

See if you get any improvement.

Thanks,

just two short questions:

Does your tablet report battery temperature (mine does not)?

And what is the battery voltage when fully charged (mine's got 4V at 100%)?

Thanks coincoin, what is the best way to recalibrate the battery? Provided it is OK and just needs recalibration...

OK, sorry for the request. Found the app, now trying if that makes any difference.

The battery issue is said to be fixed by this firmware : http://www.jmitech.fr/media/jmitech/JMITabT970_Firmware_26082012.rar

From what they say, you may fix it be recalibrating the battery (full charge then remove /data/system/batterystats.bin) several times.

The following users say thank you to Meex for this useful post:

U9GT3S
1.04 rooted chiniese

 - some times, being switched of, tablet screen became white. Look that it just wakes up, but does not show lock screen - just white screen.

I've read that this problem was discussed somewhere on chiniese forums. Do somebody know, was it solved in 1.05?
