Just installed Oma_RK31_Cube_U35GT2_4.2.2_v3.4

(btw, the instructions.txt inside zip is totally useless)

G+, Hangouts, Now and other google apps require fresh Google Play services that cannot be installed 'cause "package is signed incorrecly" (or smth like that - I use interface in russian)

I have installed the previous firmware 4.1.1 and is everything working fine

Also the battery is working much better

At least 6/8 hours when you use it and if you don't use it stands for days

launcher is force closing ?

I have the same problem. Yes, the launcher is unfortunately force closing.  So I have to revert it back to 4.1.1 instead.

with 4.2.2 I had two problems:

1. Huge battery drain

2. Contacts cannot sync

I revert to 4.1.1 and the tablet is perfect

I tried lots of Oma firmware but without a good kernel, bootloop.

Back on 4.2.2 firmware from arctablet but battery drain is too huge. I was asked to come back to 4.1 so now, my only hope is a good firmware from Cube but it seems like a dream...

I saved some euros buying cube instead of chuwi and now, it's time for punishment. :(

Are you sure that you definitely need 4.2.2? Just two days ago I returned on 4.1.1 cleaned by kasty and battery behaves itself twice better than on any Oma's

I'll wait. :)

I made the same decision a week ago. From my point of view Kasty 4.1.1 is the most stable firmware at the moment so I'll wait for stable 4.2.2 too. :)

the way I see it we are lucky the 4.1.1 is working so well without major issues because if we had any problem with it, the nonexistent support from cube would had left us hanging :-(

they really lost me as a future customer!
