Hello everyone,

I am an owner of an U30Gt2 since the first batch was sent out. It is a nice tablet for its price, with the known issue of the wifi reception. My tablet had a medium wifi reception but apart from that it worked well.. until yesterday :P I could not stand with the wifi issue and i tried to do the antenna mod i saw in another thread. I opened the tablet and did what supposed and it worked!! my wifi is strong as my mobile phone.. However.. my display now works but does not display all the colors, it has color banding problems. To give you an example everything seems as if you lower the color depth in a windows machine and it cannot display all the colors. I hooked up an external monitor with hdmi and there everything shows as it should, so i suppose i didn`t kill the graphics chip. The next thing i did is to reconnect the lvds cable on both sides (the soc and the display port) but nothing happened, again missing color depth. I tried 2.04 and 2.06 firmwares and tried to change from HD to normal and back again but no luck. Anyone experiencing the same issue? Thanks in beforehand for the help :)

I have the same problem, but only on the tablet screen, when I plug the tablet to a TV with the HDMI looks good in the TV

Hi, it seems that you run into the same problem. Unfortunately after searching all possible solutions for my case, i found out that the problem was the display itself. I ordered the specific display from china, swapped it and it worked like a charm.
