Are you sure you're testing the batteries fully load?

If you mean fully charged, yes.

The charger charges it to 4.2v, discharges, charges, discharges, charges.

If you are wondering the load placed on the batteries, I can change it from 200mA to 700mA, default is 500mA and that's what I used, I think it's a fair discharge rate.

Here is the charger I used: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?374976-Test-Review-of-Charger-Opus-BT-C2000

jow, can you also check the other brands batterys? I mean maybe it's not only cube that has bad batteries.

All right, results are in and I will just consolidate everyone's measurements that I think are accurate...

BATTERY CAPACITIES:

OEM U30GT2 = 2850mAh

"11000mAh" (Broken Link, no longer available? ) = 4600mAh (Best option if you can find it)

"12000mAh" battery (DO NOT BUY) = 3900mAh ($40 Low capacity and very expensive)

"13000mAh" = 3915mAh ($20, cheap)

There you all go, so far the replacement batteries I just purchased (13000mAh) are higher capacity but smaller than what came with the tablet and I enjoy the higher capacity.

I would recommend shopping around, if you are going to remove the metal plate inside the cube, get larger batteries to fill the extra space.  There is a much greater chance of getting a better battery with high capacities.

Good luck!

Spywell, what do you think of placing two of these batteries in parallel? Is it possible or would the cube go broken?

I think you could potentially double the run time, please view the diagram on possible configurations.

4.2v simply will not power up the tablet, you can't kill anything with too little voltage.

Four battery packs in series (8.4v) and parallel will double the capacity.  Although stacking them on top of each other might be too thick.  Also you would have to have two brand new pairs of batteries.  If you tried to parallel a new battery pack with your stock one, the large differences in capacities would destroy the stock batteries.

I actually ordered two battery packs, one for my Cube and one for my sibling but she has not brought me her tablet for the upgrade yet so I will check to see if two battery packs will even fit.

Have 2 identical 13.000 mah batteries, but one i've been using for like half a year, so they're not identical anymore. You can weld the plus of the 2 batteries on the plus, same for negatives. That's if it works.

Spywell: i know that the 2 ( 4 series and parallel ) are going to keep another at the same voltage, but is it dangerous to use 2 big batteries parallel when they are same capacity, i mean it's about the voltage right, so both batteries just aren't giving an equal current through the discharge cycle.

edit: if i have to believe du battery saver, the capacity of the battery hasn't really changed since installation. But the voltages can be different. I remember when i installed this battery the percentage was at 70 percent. Could be that differs with what rom is installed. But the sellers told this battery was a poli-ion battery, the app says it's a lithium-ion battery.

edit2: possible is to drain the two batteries, by having them apart installed and turning the tab on. Then connect the two batteries and charge them through the powersupply of the cube.

edit3: think it will fit, cause of the plastic frame.
