Edit: Just downgraded to Kasty 2.06 and the problem still occurs. Maybe it was just a coincidence that the battery died after the flashing... I suppose I have to replace the battery...

I don't think it was a coincidence. It is believed there is a bug in earlier Cube KK rom that destroys the battery. Same happened to me and also other user reported sudden and drastic drop of battery life related to KK upgrade. Others have replaced the battery and doing fine.

I have a cube u30gt2 bought back in 2012 i think. The battery died on me, but strange things is the manufacturing date of the batteries is from 2005, so that makes the battery almost 10 years old. Maybe not strange the battery then goes broken.
