Custom firmware features:
- root with latest SuperSU version 1.93 (free version)
- removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications
- Google Play Store fixes so more application are visible/compatible
- updated busybox v1.21.0.git (2012-11-29)
- Unix like init.d boot scripts support, more details on init.d scripts here
- changed permissions on external sdcard to allow write access
- increased space for applications (/data partition) to 7 GB
- disabled OTA updates (may cause problems, see Notes below)
- added Google Experience Launcher (GEL) in addition to Cube's stock launcher
- kernel modules (cifs, tun, lan, serial, xpad) compiled by Oma & Crew RKTablets, thank guys!
- optional ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install package (apparently reported to be not compatible with this firmware)
- multi-user support thanks to didierm contribution
Notes:
- any update received thru OTA may interfere with our custom firmware, we recommend to refuse any update pushed OTA.
- current KitKat based firmwares should be considered as beta software
Download: kasty-cube_u30gt2-442-20140219-rooted7_mu.zip
Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7, use Restore button.
Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have anymore a Cube U30GT2 tablet to test the custom firmware.

We had a lot of user requests for increased apps storage space, having 7 GB for apps out of 16 or 32 GB total storage space makes sense.
Cheers.

i had 18k with previous antutu score, now its 17.475 :X
I got 21870 with the CWM overclocked package ...
You also need to note that, with Antutu, much can depend on what you've done with the tablet before running Antutu. The results can be hugely different when certain things are already cached (particularly on the disk I/O side of things). If you want to compare like with like, you always need to run it only immediately after rebooting.

@Admin
The Clockwork mod from the ManuPC does not show up in the arctools. I had a similar problem in 4.4 beta 1, but it eventually showed up. Is there something I am doing wrong or should it be there?
Want to put in the over clock mods.
So far this version seems to be better on battery then beta 1. They still have not installed the drivers for the hall effect device so apps like Compass still do not work. But we can finally use a Hub on the usb port and plug in multi devices. So good progress is being made.
Thanks again

Location (GPS with with on google maps, for example) is not activating.. anyone with similiar problem?
Although our Cubes don't have GPS, you have to enable it from action bar anyway in order to use location feature in other apps. Just swipe down top of the screen where the clock is, enable GPS, end then configure the location options in Settings (it won't be grayed out anymore). That should be it.

It seems so. Even with my overclocked kernel, standby battery drain is currently 2% in 15 hours (note that the ringer is set to "silent") - but these are early days yet. We shall see how it all goes.

Where did you say that?
Most people go directly to settings trying to enable it there (and indeed, there it behaves as "unclickable") until the GPS tile on action bar is tapped on. Then the location in settings becomes clickable. If that don't work for you, then I don't really know. Others have succesfully enabled it on both JB and KitKat.
