Unfortunately not a case on my end. Still disabled and greyed out. Which version do you have? Mine is 7.1.3.

MY camera and flashlight work fine. Also been getting some fc when I have switched between launchers.

Has anyone distinguished their performance between the oc rom Darth prepared and the stock? Or either of those using one or the other launcher or a third party launcher? Just a thought. I was not paying too much attention before but I think I will check those out and pay attention.

My antutu scores are in the mid to upper 19ka so far.

Great idea. All my issues are on last few pages, so I have nothing to hide :)
You'll have to check for other people posts/issues anyway, so it all on one place and no need for PM...

Switching between which loaders? You mean launchers? I don't get you.
I measured performance between stock and OC kernel with AnTuTu, and the difference is about 7% in favor to OC kernel. How much warmer it gets I'm not sure, because I didn't do those stuff on stock frequencies. Default launchers stutter a bit, so I recommend Next Launcher, Nova Launcher or SPB Shell 3D.

I can add, my camera flash and flash light both work.

The flash light app I use is "Super-Bright LED Flashlight" by Surpax Technologhy Inc.

On the camera, at first I thought it did not work, but I switched it to manual mode and saw it worked. Then switched back to auto mode and it worked as well.

So far this release has been much better for me. Much smoother and less lag then earlier releases.

I have seen the problem in the launcher being able to switch backgrounds, but was able to use the first launcher and select the back ground, followed by a reboot and it would stay. Then switched to launcher3 and the back ground stayed. Plan to try some of the launchers in msg 155 by Burs.

I also loaded CWM and OC kernel without issue, have not checked battery drain.

Sorry, yes launchers. I notice mine acts different while I as setting the apps up to my licking with each launcher. I had Nova in the 4.22. I will probably thry it again tonight.

This would be useless...

The ROM comes from a guy/opinions-on-teclast-p90hdam in China.  There is already peoples reporting bugs there.  They will make the next or final version without even looking at you bugs here.

This one here is a custom ROM build from the BETA and it will never be fixed.

Just wait until they release the final 4.4 and I'm sure you will get a new custom ROM out of it.

regards,

I tried it just now and no joy. But now I remembered something I forgot to ask at least 3 times. When booting up (before the first logo shows), and immediately before complete shutdown, I hear some crackling on the back side where camera is located. It's the same sound I hear when switching from video to image recording inside camera app. Is that a normal sound? If not, maybe it's in connection with the led flash?

You mean 100% in Settings/Battery for the screen? Yes, that's weird. But I think it's just a stats bug. "Screen on" shows different, but I think correct data.

Nova, Next and SPB are super-fluid and very eye-candy. Some live wallpapers drop the framerate, but most of them can be set up without considerable frame drop. I wasted 2,5 hours today on setting my Next launcher lol

I just wanted to mention that on a whim I pulled down on the action bar were the time and wifi is displayed and ticked on the gps in the action bar and it turned on my location setting. Pressing on  the gps changed the grey area text to "device only", then my google location reporting immediately turned "on".

Wow! Thanks. Why didn't I thought of that before? :)
Location is now working. I've set it to "Battery saving" mode, although "High performance" is working too, but I guess it drains the battery faster. And I'm already sick and tired of that excessive battery draining, so no thanks :) Google Earth still don't see the location with any option set. But at least Maps are working now.

The battery drain is indeed horrendous. But I am not sure whether we are simply getting incorrect battery information. Whatever the problem, it is very annoying - so much so that I am now seriously contemplating a return to Jelly Bean Kasty v2.06 DJ mod ...

How's that? Haven't you said before you're loosing only 6% per 14 hours? Or did I get something wrong here?

On the other side, the tablet is indeed in deep sleep mode while loosing so much battery, so what else could it drain so much? Unless, as you said we're getting incorrect battery info. Can we somehow disable auto-shutdown when the battery level reaches 0% by editing some file or something? That way we could know for sure if there's more juice in it, simply by disregarding that it is at 0% and checking how much longer could it work. If it shuts down, battery indicator is ok, and if it continues to work for longer period of time, it obviously shows false info. Am I making any sense?
