Sorry for the Italian title, my fault! It means:"Does it work even with battery?"
Has anyone problems with using the tablet only by battery? In my case, yes: I tried with the 1.03 firmware found in my newly received U30GT2 and using the fantastic pre-rooted 1.04 firmware found in this forum but it does the same.
I can only turn the tablet on using the power cord even if battery reads 99% of charge. If I plug off the cord the tablet powers off (not in the gently way) and I cannot turn it on. I plug the cord in and it powers on again.
Do anyone here know what does it mean? Is the hardware really faulty or I'm doing something wrong?
Thank you and sorry again for the Italian title!

Hello vonkarayan!
I have the same problem with my CUBE U30GT2...
Did you find any solution for the problem?
Or did you return it?
Anyway, at the first time it was ok then I plugged in the charger and fully-charged, then I plugged out the charging cord and the tablet was shut down.
It seems like "no battery inside" because not shows the charging "icon" if I plug in the charger.
Thanks!

I had the same problem with my U30GT2.
I doesn't want to return the tablet... 3 weeks shipping to china + repairing + 3 weeks shipping back.
So I've opened it and have seen the fault. The plus (red cable) from the two Battery packs to Motherboard was disconected. I resoldered it and now it works perfekt.Â
Here is an video how to dissasembly the tablet. It's really easy, thrust me.
Good Luck!!!

Hi Mathias!
Thank you very much for the instructions!
Finally I had time for repair. I did it! Really, the red cable was disconnected from motherboard. I was afraid of disassembly a little but it was really easy. I soldered it back as well and it works!
I think I lost the guarantee however I have a working tablet and no need to wait for repairing for months.
