Hello, I've installed the latest custom rom 4.2.2 v.2.04 2013/06/2013. It worked pretty smooth. I've also installed cwm v.184.108.40.206 which never worked - dead triangel roboter - but i could reboot always. After having the tablet turn off completly it never starts again (black screen). The device isn't shown in flash mode on my pc. I opened the tablet trying to unbrick it by connecting the two pins to get in mask rom. The device is now shown as a rockusb device. By using the rockchip batch tool i get a blue square which means it should be flashable?! I tried several usb cables and roms but i got always the error "Download Boot Fail" . When I try to Erase IDB by using RK Android tool it says mask rom needs loader file. When I check the Loaderfile it says "LoaderFile does not exist"...all done with administrative rights. Does anybody have an idea?
Try the SWITCH button from rockchip batch tools, or select a Loaderfile using RK Android.
If this does not work, try on a new computer, and eventually the last resort, on linux.
Thx-I've already tried the switch button: batch tool says: "This operation didn't do, because of not supporting" RK android says "Device can not do switch, because it is not msc device". By selecting a loader file and pushing run-button it says "LoaderFile does not exist"
I tried it with Windows 7 (Windows 8 recognized the usbRockchip device but there was not connected device by using the tools). I didn't test Linux until now.
It is more complicated the linux method and involves pushing many values and files towards the tablet.
Ok Linux will be really to complicated.
I guess the reason why i do not get into flash mode by using vol + and Power is the defective installation of the cwm. So my only chance is to get into mask rom by connecting the pins!?
Can somebody please help me by sending an already unpacked loader file? I get following ERROR by using rk tools:
INFO: Start to erase IDB
ERROR: Unpacking loader failed
try to use wendal tools
