Hi all new to forum, new to cube or any tablet to be honest
Got tablet, it charged and worked fine, added some apps and was still fine. Went back 30 mind later and it wouldn't boot, the first screen (green and yellow think it says cube2 as same as on back of tab, came up, it then goes to a purple screen and stays there I left it on for 20mins no change.
It will go into flash mode when not connected to comp but won't when connected?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi, DO NOT TRY TO USE THE CWM ROMS YET, USE THE REGULAR KASTY ROM FIRST!
I suggest the latest Kasty 4.2.2 based one 2.06 using the Rockchip loader 1.70 all found at the beginning of this forum and they're free (and will root the tablet for you). You'll find it near the top of this forum. You'll need a PC and the white USB connecting cord that came with your tablet. Make sure that you're fully charged or leave it plugged in. Get on the PC in an admin account, go to Arctablet and download the firmware and the loader to your desktop. Put the software into a folder and unzip everything. You'll see the Rockchip loader program and an image file. Here's the only hard part, or maybe not; since this will be your first attempt at connecting to your PC, you have to get the PC to recognize the tablet. It may recognize it right off, but maybe not. OK, open the loader from the desktop file of your PC, when it's up, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner and point to the image file in your new folder, hit OK. Now the loader is up and looking at the correct image file and you need to connect the tablet. DON'T TURN THE TABLET ON YET (NOTE: plug the USB cable in earlier and then turn off the tablet; whenever you plug or unplug anything on this tablet, it turns on). With the white USB cable already connected to PC and tablet, hold volume+ and power button down together, release only the power button after 4-5 seconds, continue holding the volume+ button until you see a screen come up or you see a box light up on the loader screen (the tablet may stay dark in USB mode). Let the intro screen play through (if there is one) and you should see either a pink or green light come on in the loader. If green, you're ready, if pink try clicking on the "switch" button. Is box number-1 green yet? If not, you'll have to click on computer, then right click on a blank spot to drop down menu and select properties. In the upper left hand corner you'll see "Device Manager", click it and look for a yellow alert in the USB section. Click on this and tell it to load in the driver by directing it back to the desktop/your new Rockchip loader tool folder/ROCKUSBDRIVER folder/X86 file and looking around until if finds the driver it wants. Load this driver in and you'll get a USB connection (and won't need to do it again in future). Your #1 box in the Rockchip loader should be green, if not hit "switch" button again (should be green now, if not reboot tablet as before). If you have managed to get to this point and you're showing green, click on "RESTORE"and watch it fix your problem. You can unplug the USB cable when you see the tablet start to reboot. Best of luck to you and Happy New Year! I've had my tablet since last May and I love it!
