Hi got Netflix to work on this ROM with the patch under Xposed. You can download the patch here.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/d5ifqqwh0zylj5g/XposedCM10-10.1NetflixWorkaround-Dinc.apk

 Got it from here:

http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?5017-NEW-Imito-MX1-2-JB-4-2-2-Finless-ROM-2-0&p=101160&viewfull=1#post101160

Did a 5 minute test with the most resent version of Netflix and worked fine....

Thank you for your work. Has anyone found the following?

This rom as well as the other v2.06 rom takes ages to get going. After switching on, then lag, lag, lag. Even for very simple tasks. 10 mins later the lag finally disappears. Then I update an app and then more lag, lag. I have to put the tablet down for a while as it becomes unusable until if has finished updating.

Games seem to work well though.

To put things in prospective, I find it quicker to use my HTC HD2 phone running 4.3 jelly bean (>4 years old) to send an email or check a website.

This is surely not right!!

Înstall kernel 12 or kernel 12 OC from the ZIP provided on the other thread. Fixed those issues for me.

jrgalang, thank you.

Kernal 12 oc works a lot better than kernel 38oc with this rom. Far less lag. It has really made the tablet a lot more productive and less frustrating.

Still get a lot of lag initially when I change users but it resolves after 5 mins. This is understandable as I presume the tablet is slowed down temporarily as it loads all the new user apps and settings.

Cheers

Nice ROM. Thank you! I only have 2 complaints :) .. No display resolution change option in display settings menu and multi window option crashes every time. When I switch it on settings menu crashes when I click the button in the upper right corner it also crashes. Everything else seems to work fine. Any idea how to fix the two issues? Thank you.

don't

Hello,

i have the rom with 38oc Kernel on my tablet, and it works very fine.

Thank you for this great work.

But i have one problem, VPN doesent work.

There is no tun.ko in the Kernel and without it VPN doesent work.

Is there a chance to get a working tun.ko for this kernel or is there a other kernel which work with VPN?

I use Tun.ko installer.  Works fine for me.  But you have to re-run it after each boot.

Does anyone knows how to permanently install one?

Does anyone knows how to install a CISF module?

Thank you for this information i will check this out.

I found in an other forum this.

If the tun.ko is on your SD-Card you have to do this in a terminl with root.

Code:

mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
mkdir /system/lib/modules
chmod 755 /system/lib/modules
dd if=/mnt/sdcard/tun.ko of=/system/lib/modules/tun.ko
chmod 644 /system/lib/modules/tun.ko
rm /mnt/sdcard/tun.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/tun.ko
mount -o remount,ro /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system

But i havent found an tun.ko yet.
If the tun.ko installer work there must be an tun.ko on the tablet and then you can install it permanently.
cifs.ko schould work similarly.

"Does anyone knows how to install a CISF module?" I think someone had posted a XDA link to it in one of the last 2 or three rom threads.

Lets keep in mind that some people will have a problem with #12 Kernel, and some will have problems with #38 kernel. I have been unable to make any #12 kernel work on my tablet, the #38 kernel zips have worked fine for me! I am currently on a version of #38 that works great for me, it may not to some whose tablet works better with a #12 kernel. Completely weird to me how that happens, but it may be due to the differerent apps or additions we have made to the tablet since we have been fiddling with it.

I had planned on flashing the original firmware, sort of using it like "pepto-bizmol" to clear everything on the tablet , then just flash the best working rom I have experienced to-date and just sit on that until the kit-kat roms begin...lol. Then I can start playing the flashing game again...lol. But seriously I think my tablet could use a thorough cleansing and re-start before going forward flashing and re-flashing stuff into it, and perhaps that something to think about for all of us.

To be honest, I am game for testing anything right now, I am using my tablet to learn what I can, I do plan on getting another one if my tax return from uncle sam works out, but if not I'll save my pennies and get another one that I can apply what I learn from this one, and update only when I have tested it first on this current one.

So again thanks to everyone that has posted solutions and ideas here, even the most minor one has contributed to my learning how best to tinker with my Cube.
