There are patched versions of Netflix 2.0.2, and the Archos Video Player 7.5.1. I think I found them on this forum (or another one ...).

I am not sure whether these issues relate to the kernel or to the 2.06 filesystem. I guess you can try other kernels to see if they fix the problem.

Darth, I think it must be the 2.06 file system. I'm currently running your CWM 2.04 with the OC kernel which works fine with Netflix, the 2.06 version I tried was this thread's headline CWM with the OC kernel which I assume is the same.

Hi

I went to accessibility and turned on talk back.  Big mistake. It almost shut down the tablet. First I had to figure out what happened then find a way to turn it off. My touch screen would only work if I swiped it up to 20 times to make the screen roll. I had to touch an Icon over and over 20 , 30 times to make it activate. When I finally got the Talk Back turned off it started working correctly. I thought I had a virus.

Thanks --SloEd

Indeed the OC kernel is exactly the same. If the fault is somewhere in the 2.06 filesystem, then this is a regression by Cube. Perhaps the patched Netflix 2.0.2 will work. I have a copy of the apk installed, but I've not tried it, since I refuse to take out a Netflix subscription.

Hi I want to install this zip overclok to test, but does not erase your apps and games in advance? I have everything backed up to the folder, titanium, backup.

This works great. This CWM-version is good for fixing a bad boot loop too in case you flash an unexpected wonky update.zip... Just encountered it today and the ZIP restored my system just fine without having to reinstall everything.

How did you fix youre boot loop?

I'm having one too.

But I can't put the ZIP on the SD Partition because the tablet is stuck in boot loop.

How did you put the partition on the drive or how did you fix the boot loop?

Put the ZIP on external sd and let the CWM do it's job.  Well it's worth a try at least. Laugh

Yes I heard that too. However - is it a real concern or just urban legend? Storage is storage, how does it matter whether internal or external. Besides, I am pretty sure i've successfully installed Darthjabba zip from external sd at least once.

Point is - it surely won't make your boot loop any worse that it is now. Laugh

I have installed from external SD as well (just to see what would happen). Nothing bad happened, and everything installed okay.

However - there must be a very good reason for the recommendation to install only from internal SD. So, just because no problem showed up on one or two occasions does not mean that this will always be the case. The best policy is always to follow the instructions.

Thanks DarthJabba I will install from external SD then to fix boot loop and then again install from Internal SD when I'm able to put the file on the Internal SD

While in bootloop, force close the tablet by holding the Power button + Vol+ keys for about 10 seconds or until the unit shuts down. Then follow the procedures shared by everyone as to how to get to CWM. For me that would be turning on the unit AND as soon as the screen's backlight turns on, hold the VOL+ button until CWM loads.

Then via CWM, go to MOUNTS AND STORAGE and select the mount USB option. When you connect your tablet to your PC, it will then be in USB Mass Storage mode, giving you access to both internal and external SD (if you have one inserted). HTH.
