HI DJ

What about:

system/media/rkfactory/default_wallpaper.jpg

system/media/bootanimation.zip, bootanimation_0.zip, bootanimation_1.zip

it seems that "search image editor" can save .jpg, .bmp to .bin

where is boot_logo, logo.bin,  (if there ...)

thx

Hi guys,

What is your battery consumption in stand by with DathJabba's latest? (no overclocked kernel). Mine rounds the 1% per hour on average... I have removed phone apk's. Tablet enters fine in deep sleep, no wakelocks. WIFI is off... I think this consumption is excessive but I somehow don't think I have a defect battery, it lasts around 5-6 hours navigating with WIFI on and around 7 hours reading comic books... what's your experience?

Thanks

Hy, i have overclocked version. Did the same things you did (phone.apk, wifi) and I have the same experience as you do. Power drain cca 1% per hour in stand by.

I think i'll have to go back to 07082013 darthjabbas version

1% per hour is decent - that amounts to about 4 days on standby. My Android phone fares much worse than that.

@DarthJabba. I am on your last overlocked mod and my Cube was idle almost five days as I had no time to use it. Within 110 hours it lost 56% of its energy and it means only 0.5% per hour. To say it is decent result is not enough. It is just amazing!

Sorry, but I know little about these things. The boot animation files contain scores of bitmaps that are displayed in rotation (to create the impression of animation) while the tablet is booting up. Someone with plenty of time and patience can probably create his own and use them to replace what is there at the moment - but what would be the point?

Oh! :) Cool! :) )

But I think that on previous version (07082013) results were even better... I'll recheck as soon as I'll have time (at the end of next week) and report back.

Well, you can always try replacing them with your own. All you need is to use something like ES File Explorer to make the system partition writable, and then copy your own files over.

Hey thank you for the New rom .

One question .. I having heavy Speed problems with the internal and external SD card. I tested this with this and the older 2.03 Rom. With the old Rom i habe about 3 -5 MB/s internal and external what is slowSD cache ut bearable. But now i have 1 MB/s and below. I can send a Screenshot. The Boot time of the tablet is now over 2 minutes (i actually stopped the time :-) i tryed the external SD in my Smartphone .. Everythings fine. The Problem is that now everything is very slow. Working with es file Explorer is extremely slow and therefore very very annoying. Please help me. Thanks.

Update ... I change the sd cache to 6192 kb ... This helps a bit but not much. I counted how often the logo @startup is looped until i can unlock my screen . 31 times . can somebody tell me if this is normal? Because with the above mentioned old rom it sometimes took about 10 to 20 secs. To boot.

don't

Install CWM, do Backup, flash Kasty ROM... and get bootloop.

@Jgarciaillanf1

what was the rom before flashing

what rom used for flashing: Kasty, Kasty-DarthJabba

I am thinking that your way of flashing didn't erase the previous rom ...

I think you have to use rockchip 1.7 and do a restore, all wiping ...

CAUTION: all data cancelled, do backups, remove external sd

ACCEPT all restric tions linked with proposed roms

regards
