I have attempted to remove Dolphin Browser packed with this ROM so I could install recent beta and updates. Deleted both app and data no problem.

For some reason Dolphin Browser can't be installed from Google Play anymore. App installer keeps failing on weird error "Incompatible with other application using the same shared user id". Ouch.

In the next release of the mod, I will move Dolphin to the data partition.

Hi, has anyone tried the multi-user?  For me it isn't work, the tablet restarts and then dials Android error on the new user.. "se ha detenido la aplicación com.android.provision"....

Indeed, it is extremely flaky (both on 20130807 and 20130810). I haven't been able to get it to work on either of them, without spontaneous reboots. It used to work on earlier versions.

Often and when I transfer some apk on external_sd after dolphin is marked not installed

before I moved away system dolphin and install a version from play on sd

Maikal - i tried to point out, that es file exporer you mentioned is cool app ;-)  

And somewhere i read, you can manualy copy apks from system to data with es file explorer.

But....i think i'll stick to darthjabbas advice not to do so.

 

Looking forward for new release ;-)

Just managed to get it all working!

 

CWM and this great ROM is now running on my tablet!

I just wanted to thank you for your great ROM!

 

My stock ROM crashed my tablet a couple of times a day.

The keyboard was nothing but crap!

 

With your CWM enabled ROM I haven't seen one crash yet.

The stock keyboard works just fine.

No Chinese crap apps'

I reached 18152 in AnTuTu.

So I'm really happy as you can understand! :-)

Really interesting to follow you and seer where your ROM will take us all!

 

Can't wait for your first 4.3 ROM!! :-P

Hi DarthJabba (and all :) )

Installed the mod (above the final 2.04: (CWM recovery) kasty-cube_u30gt2-422-204_20130810-cwm_rooted4d.zip) - everything's OK, except the second reboot (the first one made with reboot app included in this ROM) - it hanged the device on logo. turned it off with "Vol-" + "Power", booted and then it works great. Data partition is still 2 GB (although the above kasty's ROM failed to install CWM correctly, I did it in other way).

Battery consumption shows 0% battery loss in sleep mode (against 20% in 4 hours on original Kasty's kasty-cube_u30gt2-422-204_20130810-cwm_rooted4d.zip), not sure how it's in real. Will test a few more days.

Got a question about battery calibration: if I started calibration and then rebooted the tablet several times (not connecting it to charger) - is it OK, or I should fully discharge the tablet without rebooting it for clear stats?

And one more question: can we have battery indicator in percents in status bar? next to the battery icon or instead of it? I have it on my THL W3+ and miss it on Cube very much :)
